Kharkiv Mayor Gennady Kernes has signed a decree "On Digital Development and Digital Transformation of the City of Kharkiv".
Today, on August 16, he announced on his Facebook page that the purpose of the work of city authorities in this direction is to translate services into electronic form in order to avoid paperwork and corruption.
“President Volodymyr Zelensky promised to make Ukraine a“ smartphone state ”. This is good news for Kharkov because we know where to go next. The municipal "Electronic Services Portal" issued two-thirds of the certificates remotely last year, ie without a visit at all. We use Hewlett Packard data storage solutions, together with CISCO, Vodafone and Huawei we work on smart city projects and a situational center. But development is impossible without the involvement of the whole country, ”Gennady Kernes wrote.
According to him, by January 1, Ukraine is planning to launch a new project "E-baby". For example, in Kharkiv today it is possible to register a newborn without leaving the maternity hospital and to receive a birth certificate on the spot. But you need to go to different instances for payment documents and other help.
«If it turns out - mom will fill out one form on the site instead of 37 pieces of paper. It is necessary to open all state registers, unite them, make a common identification for Ukrainians. My instruction is to audit the existing city registers and adapt them to the initiatives of the Office of the President. Transition of interaction of people with state bodies in the "number" significantly improves social conditions and business in the country ", - said Gennady Kernes.
